SWEET ALMOND OIL FROM VALENSOLE

Rich in omega 6 and 9, sweet almond oil nourishes and softens the skin.

Almond trees start to blossom from March. The fruits soak up the sun over summer, and the almonds are finally harvested in October. They're sorted by hand to ensure a rigorous selection process, then made into an oil that's renowned for its soothing and softening properties, especially when used on dry and sensitive skin.

Origin :

The Jaubert family has been passing down skills and knowledge for generations on the Valensole plateau in Provence.

OLIVE OIL

Rich in fatty acids, antioxidant polyphenols and vitamins, olive oil both nourishes and protects the skin.

The olives used to make this oil are picked on the Château Virant estate, then immediately taken to the oil mill to be processed. The first cold pressing method is used to extract the oil. This ensures that the natural antioxidant properties of the olives are preserved as much as possible.

Origin :

Lançon de Provence, at the Château Virant estate, where the Cheylan family has been practising and passing down the same skills for generations.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut (or copra) oil is made from dried coconut flesh. Rich in lauric acid, it has excellent foaming properties, and gives our liquid soaps their rich, creamy texture.

It makes a very good alternative to sulphate surfactants, as it cleanses without being harsh on the skin.

NATURAL GLYCERINE

Glycerine is derived from the saponification of vegetable oils and obtained during the traditional soapmaking process, using a cauldron.

It's able to hold several times its weight in water, which makes it an excellent moisturizing ingredient.

Description

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR LIQUID SOAP!

Since 1990, Compagnie de Provence has been offering products made with botanical oils while sharing a joyful, contemporary vision of the pleasures of Provence with people around the world. 25 years ago, in 1999, Compagnie de Provence made an innovative move and introduced the very first liquid version of Marseille soap. Formulated with plant oils, it was made in a cauldron using a traditional method and held in a stylish glass bottle with a practical pump dispenser, making it easy to use just the right amount. The liquid Marseille soap was born! Since then, this outstanding soap has found its way into bathrooms across the globe. In fact, it’s so popular, one of our liquid soaps is sold every minute somewhere in the world! Naturally, we wanted to celebrate this quarter-century anniversary with a limited-edition collection, so we called on the creative skills of Tomalater. An artist who loves playing with colour, perspectives, and graphic styles influenced by architecture and modular games, his work is filled with lightness and fun. His mission? To create a stunning new design for our iconic bottle.
