Decent price before reductions, and irresistible at €4. Attractive colour (more dark green than turquoise, to me), fits the hand and should hold a 70g soap puck. Part of its appeal is it's unusual, as opposed to bowls by Muhle, Edwin Jagger, etc, though it's also reminded me of my affection for France. Future versions would be better with ridges on the inside walls to stop the soap spinning when you load your shaving brush. Eg as in the Proraso plastic mug, or vintage Old Spice mugs. However, wetting the soap slightly before putting it in the bowl may be as effective. I'm very pleased with my bowl.
